There will be a minimum fee of $100 for any home, and a full day's inventory will cost approx. $400 to $450 if many individual items to inventory. This is a detailed process, and one that cannot be rushed through. You will be handling your most valuable treasures, and we must both be extremely careful throughout the whole process! Unless you have a very large number of individual items to be documented, a full day should be adequate for your home. I will estimate the cost of your inventory before I come to your home or small business and then confirm the estimated price upon my arrival after an inspection of what you want inventoried.
Any changes made to what will be included in the inventory as we go along will be agreed upon by both parties in advance and in writing.
I have an Agreement that you will need to sign. This is to clarify what I are going to do, and to avoid any misunderstandings. I will mail you a copy upon request.
You will become the sole owner of the inventory! I will not retain any copies for you. None of your inventory information is downloaded into my computers except by special permission! This is for your security!
You will agree to not alter or change the the inventory. You may update your inventory by creating additional CDs or DVDs, or you may call me. I do not automatically update after a certain number of months. This is up to you and your needs.
It will be your responsibility to store the written forms, the 8cm CD's, the original DV tape, and the DVD, in a safe place. They should be stored away from your home, business, or church.
You will be permitted to make extra copies and download the information into your computer, if you wish. The photographs can also be stored on a flash drive for convenience. You will agree not to alter them in any way.
It will also be your responsibility to appraise any items that need to be appraised, and to make sure that you adequately insure everything of extra value, such as jewelry, silver, crystal, furs, photographic equipment, and antiques. We will discuss your needs.
Collect receipts of your expensive property and equipment if they are readily available. Insurance companies prefer receipts as proof of ownership; but video and photographs, along with serial numbers, are the next best proof. I will be as complete as you desire.
You should have your home ready for the inventory. The video and photographs will showcase your home, so it is best to have it looking beautiful!
Payment, in the form of cash or check, will be due at the time the inventory is completed, and given to you.
